William Hill are rarely the innovators when it comes to betting promotions and features, they tend to take their time before latching on to the latest things but when they do get around to catching up with the competition they generally excel thanks to the fact they haven’t rushed in and can see what works and what doesn’t with other brands.
Various bookies have had acca clubs for years, however, the latest version from William Hill is one of the best yet and certainly one of the most flexible. It is open to all sports including horse and greyhound racing.
Punters that stake a total of £20 in a given week on accumulators with three or more selections will receive a £5 free bet the following week. The week runs from the beginning of Monday to the end of Sunday.
Each acca must have total odds of 3/1 (4.0) or more to qualify. This is the odds at the time of bet placement, e.g. if the odds of the acca are below 3/1 but increase due to best odds guarantees or similar then they will not count. If you bet at the Starting Price then the acca must be 3/1+ when the events start. If a leg is made void and this then means the acca no longer has 3+ picks or 3/1+ odds then this will also not count.
You need to stake £20 or more in the week on qualifying multiples, this can be one £20+ wager or several acca bets, as long as the total qualifying bets exceed £20 over the period. The bet doesn’t need to settle within the period, it only needs to be placed during the qualifying week. There is no opt-in required for the club and you can track your progress on site.
Only straight line accumulators count, other multiples such as Lucky 15’s will not. You can also place Match Accas (multiple bet builder within one game) or build your odds bets, both will count, although YourOdds, Double YourOdds, Enhanced Odds, Super Odds or other enhanced markets will not. As with all promotions like this bets placed using free bets will not count either. Cashed out bets will not count either and the offer is online only and cannot be used in shops.
If you qualify you will then receive a £5 free bet by midday the following Monday. The free token is then valid for one week and can be used on any sports with the exception of tote, pools and lottery bets. The £5 free does not have to be used on accas, it can be used on singles too. Any winnings are given in cash, free bet stake itself is not returned.
The reason that this is a better club than most is it allows flexible stakes, it doesn’t require opt-in, it is open to all sports (including mixing and matching) and it can give up to 25% of acca bets placed back as a free token. Most other clubs are more restrictive (e.g. you need to place £5+ qualifying bets) and give a lower percentage of stakes back as a free bet (e.g. other similar clubs often require 5 x £5 bets to be placed).
