Every Saturday, they will select a race which qualifies for the offer. If you choose to bet on that race and your horse loses, Virgin Bet will give you your money back as a free bet up to the value of £10.
This means a punter who lost a £10 bet on a qualifying race would get their whole stake back as a free bet. A punter who lost £5 on a qualifying race would also get their full stake back as a free bet, but it would only be worth £5 – the same as their stake. On the other hand, a punter who lost £20 on a qualifying race would only get 50% of their stake back as a free bet, as it would hit the £10 max limit.
The bookie will confirm any race eligible for the promotion by midnight on the Friday before the weekend in question, so there should be plenty of time on the Saturday morning to study form and research the runners etc.
Here are some of the terms and conditions you should know about before taking part in this offer:
- Single bets only
- If placing an each way bet, only the win portion will count
- Only the first qualifying bet per race will count (so you can back more than one horse, but only your first selection will qualify for the offer if it loses)
- Cancelled, voided or cashed out bets will not qualify
- Free bets can be used on any sports market
- Free bets cannot be used on each way, multiples, forecasts or tricasts
- Free bets expire after 7 days
