NetBet – Bet Wins if Your Team Goes 2 Goals Ahead
It’s an oldie but a goodie.
NetBet have joined the ever growing list of bookmakers offering the promotion that pays out on match winner bets if your team goes two goals ahead or more at any point during the game.
That means the team you back doesn’t even have to win, they can win, draw or lose, but as long as they have been two goals in front at some point during the regular 90 minutes of play, you will be paid out as a winner.
This is one of those promotions that is excellent to have in your armoury if you tend to bet on the match result, because it just provides some extra cushioning. However, it’s also useful to know about if you aren’t confident enough to back the match result but are expecting a game with lots of goals.
NetBet’s regular terms and conditions apply, but there are a few specific to this promotion too:
- Available for pre-match single or combi bets
- Only applies to regular 90 minutes, extra time does not count
- Bets on the draw will not count
- Winnings will be paid within 24 hours
- Cancelled or cashed out bets will not count
In terms of combi bets, like an acca, it doesn’t mean your whole acca will win, just the selection in question. So you might have a 5-fold and the team you have backed for leg 1 goes 2-0 up before drawing 2-2. That leg will go down as a win on your acca, but you will still need to win the other 4 legs for the acca to pay out.
Example
Looking at a single, let’s imagine you have backed Arsenal to beat Spurs at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Both teams are on fire at the moment with goals flying in from all angles, so you expect this one to be a real thriller.
Tottenham take the lead early but Arsenal find their feet around the 30 minute mark and manage to bang two in just before half time, so it’s 2-1 after 45 minutes but Arsenal only have a 1 goal lead so your bet is still unsettled.
The second half kicks off and Arsenal find the net again 5 minutes later. It’s now 3-1, Arsenal have a 2 goal lead and that means your bet pays out thanks to NetBet’s promotion. Tottenham then make a few changes and go on the extreme offensive, scoring around the 70 minute mark and hammering Arsenal’s defence. They keep pressing and finally break through once more in the death to make it 3-3 at the final whistle.
You backed Arsenal to win, so your bet would have lost. However, the promotion means you were paid out shortly after the 2nd half began, so despite getting the match result wrong, your bet still won.
Where offered, Pre-Match bets will be paid out/calculated as won, if your selection goes two goals ahead at any point in the match. Bets must be on the Match result (Early Payout) to qualify. T&Cs and bet restrictions apply
