Once you have your account head over to the promotions section and find the Lucky 7 game. This will take you to a screen with seven selected races (usually for Saturday each week) where you can pick which horse you think will win. Once you’ve entered your selections you can edit these if you like right up to the time of the first race.
If your pick is a non-runner it will be replaced by the Starting Price (SP) favourite and there is a leaderboard where you an keep track of your progress throughout the day if you wish.
If you are lucky enough to get all seven winners then you will win £100,000, in real cash with no other catches. If more than one person wins the prize is shared equally.
If no one wins the jackpot then there is still a consolation prize to be won. In this case William Hill will give £1000 to the person who tops the leaderboard by getting the most correct predictions. If for some reason this is tied then the prize is awarded to the person who submitted their entry first.
Should a race be cancelled or abandoned then the jackpot prize is reduced to £5000 and there is no consolation prize in this instance. Should two races be abandoned then the jackpot reduces to £1000, if three or more races are not run then that weeks competition is cancelled.
Now this isn’t a game that you are likely to win, it is a little like playing Scoop6 on the tote, but then again it is completely free and if you were to win it pays in cash. Certainly worth holding a William Hill account for so you can play each week to at least have a chance.
